Evansville Otters Baseball

Our neighbor Mary had tickets to the Evansville Otters baseball game on Saturday. Matt and I thought it would give us a break from unpacking and give the kids some fun.



Bosse Field is the third oldest stadium in America. In 1992 A League of their Own filmed at Bosse Field as home of the Racine Belles. Hall of Famers Sam Thompson (1884) and Edd Roush (1912) both played in Evansville.



The kids had a great time eating cotton candy and ringing their cow bells. Isabelle was afraid of Evan Otter the mascot. After the game was over they let all the kids run the bases and get autographs from the players.
