I got up Easter morning and made baked beans in the crock pot to take to my parents house for lunch. Then I woke up Matt and the kids and we all got ready for church. After church we had to swing by the house and pick up the beans. Everyone was already at my parents house and ready to eat.
After lunch Deanna and Shylo went to hide all the eggs from the younger kids. Before they could hunt for eggs they all had to promise only to get 5 eggs each. When you have that many kids together you have to set up the rules first. Plus it wouldn't be fair for one kid to get 8 eggs and another only 3 eggs.
Once all the eggs were located the kids opened them up to see how much candy and money they got. In some of the eggs were pennies, nickels and dimes. That way they don't get too much of a sugar rush.
