We took the kids to Disneyland for Isabelle's 4Th birthday. I thought it wouldn't be as crowded as it usually is but I was wrong. There were a bunch of graduation students. Since Madison was in her wheelchair we didn't have to wait in the long lines. The kids did really well with the rides. Madison was a little scared of Treasure Island. Isabelle didn't like the Abominable Snow Man. Andrew got to ride The Matterhorn solo and loved it.

Most of the morning was dedicated to riding the rides. Then we hit an outdoor patio for lunch. Then it was off to celebrate Isabelle's birthday at Park Inn. Once we were seated Pat E. Cake came out and sang happy birthday. Then Minnie and Mickey started a conga line. Isabelle was able to hold her hand through the whole song. After it was over Minnie grabbed her face and rubbed their noses together. Then everyone got to take pictures with Minnie and Mickey. After they left to get ready for the parade we all got to make personal cakes and play games. Isabelle said it was the best birthday ever.

Next we headed to the Jedi in Training show. Andrew was picked out of the audience. They showed him some quick moves and then Darth Vader, Darth Mall and the Storm Troopers came out. Andrew was able to "fight" Darth Maul. Madison was a little scared because he looked so real and thought Andrew might get hurt. After the "battle" was over Andrew was presented with a certificate stating he was a Padawan Jedi. He said it was the best day of his life.

On the way out we went to the souvenir shops. Madison and Isabelle got Minnie Mouse dolls. Andrew picked out 2 decks of Disney characters dressed as Star Wars characters playing cards. Isabelle also got Minnie Mouse ears. We unloaded everything into the car and hit the road. The kids fell asleep within 30 minutes.
