Marengo Cave
Madison's class took a field trip to Marengo Cave in Marengo Indiana. It's about a 45 min drive from here. Madison's teacher, Mrs. Holder asked that I come along because they weren't sure how Madison would do without her walker.
After arriving we walked a trail to the cave opening. Then proceeded 200 feet below ground. The tour took about an hour. It was interesting to learn all about the cave formations, soda straws, stalagmites, stalactites and so on.
Madison was able to walk certain areas holding my hand but it was very slippery down there. Most of the way I gave her a piggy back ride. By the end of the tour I felt like a pack mule.
